Michael Deagler’s debut short story collection, EARLY SOBRIETIES, will be published by Astra House in the spring of 2024.
Deagler’s fiction has appeared in Harper’s, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, Electric Literature’s Recommended Reading, and elsewhere, and he has received fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA, and the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in Nebraska City. He lives in Los Angeles, where he is pursuing a Ph.D. in creative writing and literature at the University of Southern California.
